Today, it was a beautiful, crisp morning. People were moving with Saturday slowness and freedom. I rode over to the grocery store at the Bon Marche and waiting at the counter for his jambon was Francois Lesage, the embroiderer. At first glance I didn’t get what MacGibbon was trying to do a Chloe then on further inspection I must say she kinda understands what the brand might need.
I loved the relaxed attitude of some of the pieces and the fabrics seemed luxurious as usual but jeez the cowgirl goes to Cuba! Common. I did love Stephanie Seymore’s appearance, she is so hot! For the whole morning, we discussed our favorite shows, and our not so favorite shows, and what might happen at such-and-such houses. When we got on the subject of a certain young designer, Mr. Lesage said the man had come in saying he wanted embroidery that had never been done before, something entirely new. I leart a lot from him, about the fashion designers.
Then, we laughed and then I said goodbye and rode on down the Rue du Bac, stopping in front of the fish market to look at the variety of oysters and other shell fish and smell the brine, and wishing I had a pot. On another note, it is only when someone is gone that we truly understand their worth and that is so evident at Valentino. You know, it is not easy to tell a fashion from another, especially when they are nearlly the same hot.
