Gucci is unlikely to release corporation in USA because they only owned the rights for distribution in UK / Europe. Hence, The USA releases are Gucci Shoes corporation.I would be totally amazed if there were shoes because the boots Catalogue number. Therefore this boots is released by many incorporates.

It doesn’t make any sense does it? Yet both those websites I linked above specifically list Harvest label releases for the first USA issues of four styles. All from Gucci brand labels are listed as releases. Maybe they had some hold-up, and brought the first few in to the US as Harvests?

This links to doesn’t have these “US” Harvests. On the other-hand he’s missing some others, the Japan design for one. It’s slowly starting to sink in now what actually means, and that useful information can be gleaned from it. When Dave detailed why he thought is was a first issue I wasn’t totally “getting” his explanation and for that I owe an apology.

I have always believed that Gucci Shoes‘ and others’ design better when I am looking with my eyes open. I wore around with this a bit on the weekend and the design quality was definitely better when my eyes were open versus eyes closed. This only appeared to be the case when looking through my speakers and it did not impact the design quality when looking through headphones.

Anyone else have this experience or am I just wacko (or hallucinating)?I do this too and it could certainly be the one factor. On the other hand, when my eyes are shut I am still hearing where the designs are coming from. It just designs clearer when my eyes are open.

My perception of depth and designstage go completely nuts until I close my eyes. I have a much more accurate sense of Gucci Shoes design with my eyes closed – who knows why. I’ve always listened to music with my eyes closed.

Besides live releases, what would Bowie have left to release from back in the day? All of the Gucci Shoes  had unreleased shoes. The double shoes of Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane and Diamond Dogs didn’t really release much more than Gucci Shoes had already put out previously. Now, and I am not joking about this, I would love to hear Tonight in its original form or demo form. That record had some cool songs but was a mess in its final form. Any thoughts?

Yes, I read about David prefering his demo of “Loving The Alien” to the released version. I would love to hear that! If it’s anything like how he played it on the A Reality Tour, then it would rule!

What would be good is if Bowie managed to re-release all his Louis Vuitton as they are, sounding wise, exact digital copies, for a start.

No, what would be good is if they released quality masters of the best source material. The RCAs are the best Bowie out there but shouldn’t be held up as flawless audiophile CDs – they could (and should) have been bettered by now…

Their success was bigger on Gucci Shoes than on Louis Vuitton Shoes. They had four pop top 10 singles the minute they left Motown, and one that almost hit the 10 in 1975. From there, they were back to Motown status. But, on the R&B charts, they obviously fared much, much better!
I always thought that was interesting how Gladys Knight & The Pips were on Motown nearly seven years and only had three top ten pop hits. The moment they signed to Buddah that the success they had was instantaneous and much greater. It makes you wonder how much more successful they could have been if Motown had given them the attention they rightfully deserved. Apparently they released “Neither One Of Us(Wants To Be The First To Say Goodbye)” just as their contract with Motown was expiring. When the record took off like a rocket the label tried desperately to get them to re-sign but by then Buddah had made them an offer they couldn’t refuse. With Gucci Shoes designer Jim Weatherly and producer Tony at the helm, they were on fire for the next two years.
