UGG boots soak up everything really well. The best thing you can do to protect your UGG boots is waterproof them. You can use a number of things to waterproof them, scotch guard, UGG boot sealant or any other silicon based sealants. This will really only make them resist water and staining, you can’t go swimming in your UGG boots after you do this. This will just make whatever you spill on your UGG boots bead off like a waxed car. But just like a waxed car you’ll need to reapply the sealant fairly often, particularly after the boots are wet.
There are UGG Boots shampoos available which are great. Suede cleaner and leather shampoos are available at walmart for about $5 which are also brilliant.If you’ve got wax, alcohol, paint or anything else harsh there isn’t really much you can do unfortunately. You can still give these instructions a try though. Take the shampoo and simply rub it over the stained area, give it a decent scrub. You’ll also need to gently scrub the remainder of the boot otherwise it will dry different colors. Stuff the boots with socks or newspaper so that it has a nice shape and leave them to dry in a cool place.
